A New Chapter of Becoming
The Privilege of Starting the Year off Right
On November 30, 2024, I did something I once thought impossible: I packed nineteen years of my life in Australia into a single, small storage unit. As Huahsu and I boarded the flight back to Taiwan, I was expecting a simple "recharge." I didn’t realize that God had planned a total "re-rooting."
To me, this transition is the fruit of a seed planted in 2018. It was then that I first encountered the term "Start the Year Off Right" through the online broadcast of Glory of Zion’s celebration. Before that, I struggled to understand the true meaning of "identity" and "privilege."
“For Christ's love compels us ... we are therefore Christ's ambassadors... ”
Through His word, my understanding of His Kingdom was completely rewritten. I realized that being a Kingdom Ambassador isn't just a title—it’s a mind shift. I began to see my life not as a series of random events, but as a divine assignment.
In Taiwan, what I thought would be a few months of rest turned into a full year of stillness. God granted me a still heart to remain in Him. As we traveled across the island, His purpose echoed louder than ever: "I have a plan for you, and it is good."
This was more than a surprising turn; it was a renewed call to faith. "Faith without action is dead," so I am taking one step at a time along the path He directs. I finally have a name for this walk: "Rooted On The Go."
It represents a heart rooted in His love, yet mobile in His mission.
This privilege is like a baton passed directly from Jesus’s hand. I hold it with gratitude and reverence, knowing that my responsibility is to pass it on, just as my Teacher instructed. It is a race I dare not take lightly.
I am still digesting this new chapter, and I welcome you to journey along with me. Let us be witnesses together of how great our Father is and how deeply He loves us.
